P+P Barbers

Modernising herritage.

Long before the barbershop craze of late – there was Pickings & Parry on Gertrude Street. We created the branding for the shop back then; it wasn’t too dissimilar to the rest of the P+P identity of the time – traditional, classic, and yellow. The shop has always been a hit with regulars, the talented crew are the best, the experience is spot on, the interior is nice, but we hadn’t really done much to change the branding over the years. They’d since moved shops down the road, new barbers had joined, and it was time for a refresh. This is the evolution of P+P Barbers. Much more simple. A new identity system for the shop it has become. We looked at this as though it was a straightforward way to modernise with heritage in mind. No fussy bits ‘n pieces, just straight typography, and a unique colour pallette.
